Common Plastic Surgery Procedures

Plastic surgery includes operations that change appearance, restore form, or improve function. A procedure's popularity does not determine whether it fits your anatomy or goals. Start with the concern you want to address, then compare the possible treatments.

Breast procedures

Breast augmentation changes volume. A breast lift addresses position and shape. Breast reduction reduces size and reshapes the breast. Implant revision and reconstruction answer different clinical questions. These operations are not interchangeable.

Body procedures

Liposuction treats selected fat. A tummy tuck addresses excess abdominal skin and may address the abdominal wall. Body contouring after major weight loss can involve several areas and may require staged care.

Face and eyelid procedures

Facial procedures can address skin, fat, tissue position, or structure. Upper eyelid surgery differs from brow surgery and lower-eyelid treatment. Chin liposuction removes selected fat, while other neck concerns may need a different discussion.

Surgical and nonsurgical options

Botox and dermal fillers are nonsurgical treatments with different roles. They do not replace every operation or carry the same recovery and risk profile. The ASPS procedure directory provides broader educational information.

Use the breast, body, and face guides to choose a starting point, then book a consultation to discuss suitability. An educational list is not a statement that every procedure is available from the practice.
